Singapore Math 2: Challenging Word Problems

This enrichment course is recommended for Grade 2 students who are ready for more challenging material than the standard Primary Singapore Math curriculum. Students must be able to read word problems independently and have strong foundational skills in addition and subtraction.

Students will use bar models, number bonds, equations, and logical reasoning to solve complex problems involving the four operations, money, fractions, time, graphs, shapes, and patterns. Instructors will also incorporate math games, puzzles, and team challenges to strengthen number sense, strategic thinking, and confidence.
